One of my early childhood memories is “painting” a white fence with mud. Another is turning my mother’s pots and pans into a drum set on the kitchen floor. Little did I know at the time, I had already found my two creative outlets….art and music.
I think God plants a seed in people that moves them to create something from nothing. It doesn’t matter if it’s a piece of an old door I’ve dragged out of a dumpster, or a canvas I’ve bought at a store. When you are moved to create sometimes the medium itself is the spark….I’m going to make something wonderful out of this nothing that someone else tossed into a trash pile.
